I didn't do much in the garden this summer, since of course the year I am preggers was the hottest summer on record. The heat was so excrutiating I was afraid to go outside unless it was to soak in our new wading pool. Nevertheless, we did have some successful harvests - the peppers were particularly outstanding - and I did get some pictures. One of the days, if I can find the time, I'll update the blog with a retrospective of summer 2010.

Welcome Baby K.!
So obviously I haven't updated this blog in quite a while. That's because I was growing this little fella in my belly! K. was born on Oct. 11, at 7:01 am. I took these pics of him in the garden last week when we had an unseasonably warm day of 75 degrees. Looks like he is fascinated by the nasturtiums - a little gardener in the making!
